Laser Therapy

What is Class 4 Laser Therapy and Why?

Everyone experiences muscle and joint pain at some point in their life.

The advanced, patented Class 4 MLS system delivers pulsed and continuous light emissions (energy) synchronised for the optimal therapeutic effect with wavelengths of 8080nm and 905nm without the risk of thermal damage. The light is directed into damaged and inflamed tissues to accelerate the body’s natural healing process.

This provides an alternative safe, non-drug, non-invasive and painless treatment for the reduction of short-term (acute) and long-term (chronic) pain, swelling and inflammation for the following musculoskeletal conditions/injuries:

  • Muscle spasm and pain
  • Arthritis
  • Sprains and strains
  • Back pain
  • Hip pain
  • Knee pain
  • Sciatica
  • Bursitis
  • Tendonitis
  • Haematoma and oedema
  • Sports injuries
  • Wound healing

What To Expect

Treatments are quick and painless and often you or your pet will feel the results during the first treatment, particularly where muscle spasm and contracture is present. For chronic and inflammatory conditions, it may take a few sessions to feel the effects but the cellular benefits will start to work immediately by reducing inflammatory markers and tissue damage. Wound healing and soft tissue repair will be quicker and stronger.

The number of sessions required will depend on the condition and will be discussed with you prior to commencing treatment.
